This weekend Blair and I have lots of work to do! We are going to wrangle that enormous driftwood into something smaller and better suited for the inside of a house, I’m going to help her move out of her apartment, and we’re going to find the time in amongst it all to go used car shopping for her very first car!

If we accomplish all of the above with superhuman efficiency, we’ve chatted about hopping on a sailboat at the Portland Schooner Company and cruising around Casco Bay. If you’re ever in Portland, one of the best scenic ways to enjoy the many islands of Casco Bay (pictured above) is to ride the mail ferry from island to island. Or, if you’re looking for a little more activity, bring your bike on a ferry ride to Peaks Island and pedal around. We highly recommend bringing a picnic and squeezing in some beach combing.
