This morning marks the first day of a nine-week fitness program that Hayley and I are embarking on together. As a result, we are faced with three group workouts weekly (plus more if we can muster it on our own), 5:30 a.m. wake-up calls (ouch), and many anticipated sore muscle groups (literally, ouch). That, paired with evening temperatures in the low thirties (=frost), has us concentrating on the things that will warm and soothe us at the end of the day.
Our fitness ambitions align with the quickly approaching days where you wake up in darkness and drive home from work in darkness. When this is the case, it’s not unreasonable to do everything in your power to make the dark mornings and pitch blank nights a bit cozier. At the top of our list is tea, candles, and appropriate apparel. Everyone should be able to enjoy a candle lit cup of tea in cashmere sweatpants, wouldn’t you agree? That is exactly what I will be looking forward to as I drag myself out of bed to go break a serious sweat at 6 a.m., hopefully it’s enough to get me through!
Wish us luck! Blair

Best of luck, ladies! Having a workout partner is key because they help to keep up your motivation and keep you from slacking, so you’re already doing something right.
Also – have been using the Sea Salt Soap forever but had no idea it was a candle as well! Will definitely be stocking up 🙂
