With Easter just around the corner Hayley and I have started planning our family celebration. I love to set holiday menus and incorporate variations of traditional dishes each year. But, beyond the food, I yield to Hayley, who is in charge of all event beautification.
As the blossom boss, Hayley took some blooms for a test run this week. We bought irises, daffodils, frilly tulips and waxflowers. The frilly tulips will definitely make a repeat appearance on our family Easter table- we were immediately taken with this novelty varietal. We will share photos of our final Easter spread with you on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on the big day too!
For today, Hayley crafted four bouquets ranging in size from small bud vases to larger arrangements. This makes for a bountiful and whimsically scattered tablescape and guarantees everybody a good angle! What flowers tickle your fancy? Do you prefer the pink and peach hued tulips or the cool palette of irises and hydrangeas?
Fondly, Blair
