This past weekend Hayley and I met up with my friend Tess at Kettle Cove Beach. We have a couple of beach inspired/ themed posts coming up on Sea Salt + Chambray in the next couple of months, so the timing was perfect. Due to the weather resulting from Hurricane Arthur, the ocean and nearby Ram Island were shrouded in fog and it was a beautiful, though unusual, day to be at the beach. We walked, talked, and hunted for just the right shells.
With several handfulls of shells this was definitely a successful mission. I consider myself lucky to be able to classify this beach trip as a combination of business and pleasure. It’s a beautiful thing. Check back on Wednesday for a delicious post starring some of the white periwinkle shells!
Stay tuned! Blair
