In one month I will be leaving my tiny house and starting fresh with new walls. Because I’m currently renting I never had the opportunity to paint or really decorate much. I’m super excited to have free rein to create a personal sanctuary. My greatest design inspiration has always had a minimalist and Scandanavian bent. I’ve started to pull together images that feel clean, bright, open and airy to me. White used to not appeal to me (I coated my bedroom in a bold pink Ralph Lauren paint back when I was in high school! Ah!) but I’ve come to appreciate the tranquility and calm it creates. White is sophisticated and timeless, and in my next space that is exactly what I’m going for, with a touch of driftwood, perhaps. My mind is swirling with shades of white- I can’t wait to share my new space with you!
Have a fantastic weekend! Hayley

The pinboard is beautiful! Wish I could go with all white… love that look! But with 4 children, neither white nor minimalist works. Can’t wait to see your finished product!

Thank you, Anne! We can only imagine- someday we’ll trade the white in for crayon drawings on the walls… until then, we can’t wait to share the final reveal!

I love all the shades of white with some pop of color. Incorporating nature is wonderful. Repurposed wood, metal, shells and rocks are some of my favorite projects. I have a passion for giving something old and abandoned, a new life. Some things are ment to be loved again. You have given me some creative ideas for a blog. I am a Maniac and love to collect! Keep up the good work ladies! You inspired me today!
